I got a crazy bone that sticks out right below the ankle. I don't have money to take it to a shop. Anyone know how to punch out a ski boot at home?? Anything will help. THANKS
Searching might do the trick. Congrats for posting in the right forum though.

use a hammer? your fist?
take it to a shop man... punching a boot won't cost you that much, and they'll do a much better job.

Most shops should only charge a few bucks for a punch ($10-20). Why bother with it if you dont have the right tools. Boot need to get up to 275-300 degrees to punch. Then you need to have a tool to reshape the plastic. Finally and let it cool to room temp.

Yeah. I know how to punch out a boot at home.
The first step is to go the shop, and pick up the proper tools. Then I can bring them home, and leave it punched overnight.
Since you are probably not a bootfitter, this is not an option for you. But you really need a very sturdy expander that will both fit in the boot, deal with the heat necessary, and stay in the proper position while it cools.
In summary, go to a shop.
