Clear Topsheet Bros

I have a line on a pair of 06-07 179 bros with clear topsheets. Is there any difference between the clear topsheets and the normals? Man that sounds fucking retarded. but seriously, id rather sound retarded then buy a shitty pair of skis

The clear topsheets are bomber IMHO. I wish all skis had them. They don't propagate splits or cuts at all. Only issue might be weight. I don't know what the difference might be compared to normal topsheets but I could imagine they'd weigh more.
