Does anyone have any experience with Fischer big stix 69 or 7x? I ski mainly at Mary Jane with bump runs part of my daily grind. I'm looking for an all round bump/tree/pow ski with a wood core. Are there others I should be thinking about? I'm currently on 188 volant machetes, but one now has a slight bend and these will transition to rock ski status. Thanks minions/tiggers/maggotz.

I was wondering the exact same thing. I have a ski for everything but bumps and and tight trees. I have seen a ton of deals on these fischers. Would definetly like to hear some feedback

Dude, you bought volants get over it make them last another year. (Then buy some Head monster 85 ims and ski those for bumps.)

I've heard good things about twinnies in the bumps, too. I've heard that the tails don't get caught up on the bumps, or something to that effect. Very plausible theory, have yet to put it into practice personally
Im not going from experience here but i would say the big stix would not be too great in the bumps.....i flexed em lots of times and they are pretty stiff fer a midfat, might bounce you out of the bumps......they prob rock in the crud, trees, etc....

For the price they are offered here, I'd say you can't lose.
