I know I know do a search. Did that and didn't fine the answer. So here is my question. Mounting the front toe piece, is their suppose to be 5 screws of 4? I am looking at the lever to change between alpine and AT and right behind it looks like their should be a screw in there. If so I guess I need to take them back and rip the shop a new ass for not putting all the screws in. Wouldn't be the first time they fucked up a pair of my skis, but that's a whole other issue.

Thanks to all.

There are 4 short screws and 1 longer pan head screw (goes in the middle) per toe piece. You NEED that screw!

I mounted my friends and yes there is another screw in the middle.
I think it was slightly longer too.

Yes, what they said. Particularly about it being a PAN HEAD screw, which is very odd for a ski shop to have and use.

Do NOT let them install a regular ski binding screw - it will prolly split the plastic resulting in insta-tele binding uselessness when you least expect it.

Thanks everybody. I will get it back to them and rise hell about it. Thanks again.

Don't know how those techs managed to goof that up... guess they just figured those two screws were extras, lol (extra screws that aren't the right size for any other part of that binding). :p.

Extra screws? Never!

Is there a larger issue here though? Why is the "big-bad-Duke" binding held together by one screw in a small plastic housing?
