Is the Anti Piste actually a Coomba with inserts and rocker?
Or, the more pointed question(what I am really interested in)... Does the Anti Piste have a twin tip of any nature?
Could someone post a sideview of this ski?
Thanks in advance!
I had thought the Coomba was a twinless Seth? Slightly tweaked. Although I might be way off track.

AFAIK, the anti-piste is the Seth with telemark inserts. I think the Coomba is lighter and softer flexing, but I could be wrong.

AGH! Can't they just make one ski? I think squatch is probably right.
Coomba = anti piste, seth = hippy stinx (?)

Coomba = AP, with some minor tweaks (front mini rocker, inserts and supposedly a tweaked core).
Seth = Hippy... Though I think this years Hippy is same as the 98mm waisted Seth.

This year's hippy = last year's hippy = last year's Seth (130-98-118) with tele inserts.

The 08 Anti is the exact same footprint as the Coomba 136-102-121 with what K2 calls a rocker (early rise) tip. The do not have a turned up tail. They do however have a nice large skin notch. Full review at http://telemarktalk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=40414&sid=4e7fec5e66f4ec4d01e3b6777ad6c1b1
I think the hippy seths need to have some anti-pistes inserted and I need a drink

Bump old thread. Anyone compared the Coomba and (current model) Anti-piste side-by-side? Does the Anti-piste have more tip rocker than the Coomba?
I've seen the Coomba; haven't seen the Anti-piste with it, and can't find a profile picture online that shows the camber & tip rocker.

Coomba doens't have rocker, AP has a minute amount.
Next years Coomback (or what ever it's called) sports the same rocker as this years AP.
So yeah, I guess you could say that AP has more tip rocker (considering Coomba has no rocker).
As for the camber, I'd say they are pretty close.

Thanks hemas -
I saw someone in a liftline with the Coomback; didn't know what the differences were between it and the current Coomba.
I'll have to check out the Anti-piste and see what the tip rocker profile looks like. This could be a good AT ski for Mrs. C.
