Hook

For Thanksgiving, rather than sit around and eat too much turkey, I went down to Belize and ate too much seafood. Some fishing as well.
I wish I could say that it was because I never used to carry a camera anywhere was the reason.... but like a dumbass,
I threw my digital point and shoot into my bag but walked out of my house to catch a plane and left the battery securely in it's charger on the wall.
These shots are from scans out of a disposable underwater camera my buddy gave me. Tilted horizons, out of focus, etc.etc.
I wasn't even going to post any after I saw them, but then I figured what the hell.
Driving down through the jungle, you have to admire the old bridges built by the British that are still in use, albeit narrow.

The temps were mostly in the 80's, but there were scattered showers a couple of days. Here's our intrepid Garifuna guide Floyd, on the lookout.

My buddy Jim from Colorado has that peculiar sickness of trying to catch Permit on a fly, It can be maddening.
Here he is trying to see which way the one at the edge of that coral patch is heading.

After lunch, I spotted some tailing Bonefish and waded over.

They followed but no takes, thats the nature of flyfishing for permit.
I had several good shots as well.

That's all I could stand to post out of that camera. I hope nobody gets seasick from the tilted horizons.
