Durability?

Been looking at one of their packs.
Wondering how well their stuff holds up.
Note: this gear WILL take a beating and if it can't survive (coughaquaskinscough) then I want nothing to do with it.

I've had a couple packs/chest packs. Not bad but I think William Joseph products are much more durable.

I'm thinking of getting the modular backpack/chest pack for stomping the surf.
I'll have to look into the WJ stuff.

Thanks!

Edit
This is the pack setup I was looking at:

I own that one.

From a function standpoint, I like it. Reason being, you can remove the chest pack and leave the "back" pack at home for quick outings. As with other FP packs, there are too many pockets for me. I haven't busted anything on it yet, (had it for 2+ years), but I usually go with my WJ pack. Got the FP for a gift and can't say I'd buy one over any of the WJ products I've had.

I like the look of their stuff, but it doesn't look like it would hold up to what I need it for.

The WJ stuff I own is awesome. Even down to the lightweight rain jacket I got, with the led on the zipper for tying off at night. I wear that thing everywhere.

I got the "Safety Dance" model-

To be honest, I'd rather have too many than too few.
Can't count how many times when surf fishing/flats wading I've said to myself "great, I have nowhere to put X".

the only thing i have from fishpond is a retractor, but it has lasted a whole week so far. over all i like it better than the ones i had before, even though i was a little suspicious about spending the money on it.

but if you are looking for a pack, you cant beat this puppy:

like most patagucci gear, its way too much money, but if i ever lost mine for any reason, i would replace it in a heartbeat. have used one for a couple years now and it has held up well. only two complaints i have are no good way to put a water bag in (it does have a good stretchy pocket that holds a nalgene) and no waist belt on the pack (if you are doing lots of rock hopping it can bounce some)

I always thought Fishpond looked better made than Bill and Joes. I've passed on a few of the W&J bargains and paid for the FP gear. SO far so good,.
