There doesn't appear to be an easy way in; so, I'll take either photoshop or stupidity for $100.

shite...I dunno..I just found the pic....my guess is he traversed all the way from looker's right, stopped right where he's standing, shat his pants as the photog snapped the pic, and then he sidestepped back out and traversed out to lookers left....at least that's how I'd do it.

But really, I hope he stairstepped the ice falls, but its more likely he traversed in. Where's that shot taken?

I am guessing he climbed up to have his picture taken. Then he got his rope out again and rapped down.
It's pictures like this that make me happy I don't ski on the east coast anymore.

Yeah, I don't see any other way.
My only question then is, why? I guess he just wanted to look cool. I mean it's 95% ice climbing and 5% skiing.
If he wanted to look extremo he should have just gotten this helmet.

Stupid west coast know it all's any self respecting east coast billy goater would treat this tasty line as a triple drop. He obviously dropped all three above and is now resting before he drops the 4th. Come on it obvious. This is the east coast after all, you can just point em.

Until someone else goes out there and stomps it clean I don’t think anyone has anything to say.

Wow. Lots of effort and time and risking death on a ski day for a pic that really isn't that cool at all. oh well, different strokes, i guess. *shrug*

This picture is from Alaska and is a popular ice climb. Look for the image in a Nissan or Mountain Dew commercial next Super Bowl...maybe.

   HOLY POO ON A TWIG!
Climbed those rocks with skis on pack... then he dropped that fall.... that's my gues... and got the worst case of shinbang on the planet and toes that look like phunks... if i get it right do I win a cookie?
That is the worst case of camera tilt I have ever seen. Obviously its just a picture from early in the season of a skier going down one of the green runs at some midwestern ski area, my best guess would be Granite Peaks, due to all the......well....granite....in the pic.
Here if i tilt it back to how it really looked maybe it will be more obvious.
