Check these out. I remember them from a late 80's or 90's Warren miller movie. Hopefully no one is planning on sniping these. Warren seem to get a pretty good lark out of them.

I tried them back in the early 80's, scary stuff. There is a local shop who still has a couple of customers skiing them and WILL still work on them.

thats the scariest thing I have ever seen. It looks like the bar is there to break you shin and leg off.

I skied them for a day. It was fun. It was actually hard to go back to regular equipment. I recall that it made skiing feel much more elegant. Not really a hard-charging sensation, but still nice. They would have been great for my parents.

I think Warren Miller in the same year had some footage of Schmidt and Plake tearing around on them. I can still hear Warren narrating them as "rowing machine bindings".

Something about doubling as a rowing machine in the off season, hehe.... As I recall they did have a few guys skiing quite well on them. Not in a "no fall zone" but somewhere in Europe, mild bumps and crud.

I think these were designed for knee issues no? I think they release differently as to not tweak knees..

Those totally rule! I would buy them in a second if they were my size. One hour left...who wants to make all the ladies swoon?

Holy Crap, Phil, you bought those? What are you going to do with them? Gaper days attire? If he ships the 210's it would be a great long board day conversation piece.

I have better long boards to mount them on...Molnar Yellows, The Ski, Salomon 9000 1S (212cm). I am not sure what will put them on though, I am thinking some PowerKarves.

I got them, I have to decide what to mount them on. I mounted up on some old Dynastar Course SL's to make a template.
