Garywayne 2013 Review
$14.95
Participants must be 17 years old or younger
Ever dreamed of becoming a ski or snowboard movie star? The 2012 Teton Gravity Research Grom Contest will make that dream a reality for one lucky participant. Groms 17 years of age or younger may submit up to one ski or snowboard edit each month for a chance to film with us during the 2012/2013 season and have an edit of their footage shown before our 2012 film tour. A GoPro HD Hero 2 will also be awarded to our favorite edits from each month. A committee of TGR athletes and staff members will choose the winners primarily based on quality of action and level of riding. While multiple submissions are not required, they may help us get to know you and your riding better. Voting and Facebook likes will not influence judging but may help get your video noticed. Submissions close June 30, 2012 at 11:59 PM.

Get your video noticed by having your friends rate and vote for your video. While this will help increase expousre of your video, will not influence the outcome of the contest.
Quality of action and level of riding are the main deciding factors. A tight edit with your best footage will probably score better with the judges. Do not make them wait through your B shots to see your A shots. Length of video is not a deciding factor. We need to see enough to see your skills. A tight 2 minute edit will usually be more impressive than a loose 3 minute edit. Multiple submissions are not required and a single edit can win the Grand Prize, however multiple submissions may help us get to know you better.
Judges will include Nick Martini, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Jeremy Jones and members of the TGR production team.
