Editorial Director

TGR is seeking an experienced team member to oversee all aspects of digital editorial content.

Reporting to the EVP Business Development the Editorial Director will be responsible for all editorial content distributed across TGR's digital platforms. The Editorial Director will play a key role in successfully managing and delivering against a cross platform editorial calendar while managing an internal and external team of contributors. The Editorial Director will ensure all editorial content is reflective of TGR's voice and that the content engages and grows our digital platform audience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure that TGR's editorial content is diverse, consistent, and in line with the TGR voice
  • Effectively manage all members of the editorial team
  • Grow TGR's digital audience through impactful and effective digital content

The Editorial Director will be specifically focused on TGR's editorial content on tetongravity.com and across all of TGR's social channels. The Editorial Director will work with the EVP of Business Development to continue to evolve TGR's editorial strategy and to effectively develop editorial series and the cross platform editorial calendar. You will be responsible for overseeing all editorial deliverables while managing and motivating the editorial staff. Your involvement will be key to the success of TGR's digital brand.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all content distributed across tetongravity.com and all TGR social channels
  • Work with executives to continue to evolve TGR's editorial strategy
  • Growing TGR's audience through editorial content engagement
  • Budget and plan larger editorial series or initiatives
  • Effectively create and manage long term, cross platform editorial calendar
  • Directly manage the internal editorial team
  • Efficiently allocate and assign individual responsibility for all editorial deliverables
  • Effectively negotiate contracts with contributors
  • Assure editorial teams stay on time and on budget
  • Review content, provide feedback and notes to editors
  • Effectively communicate editorial status with executives

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years' experience in editorial content creation

Director of Production

TGR is seeking an experienced team member to oversee all aspects of content production and post production.

Reporting to the EVP Business Development and communicating with the Executive Team, the Director of Production plays a key role successfully delivering TGR content. The Director of Production will be involved in content ideation, pitch development, budgets, production crew and schedules as well as post production and delivery. The Director of Production will ensure content is TGR brand on point and delivered at the highest production value.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all production deliverables authentically embody the TGR brand
  • Effectively manage all members of the production and post production teams
  • Collaborating with executives on the content development pipeline

Core Responsibilities

  • Ideate and support executives in content concept development
  • Create, control and be accountable for content production budgets
  • Create production schedules and allocate crew

Merchandise Marketing Manager - Full Time

TGR is seeking an experienced team member to lead and oversee all aspects of TGR merchandise design, marketing and distribution.

Reporting to the CFO and communicating with the CEO, the Merchandise Marketing Manager will oversee all product line design and marketing as well as sales distribution for TGR Merchandise. Covering, retail, wholesale, ecommerce and event sales this dynamic role, will lead the strategic growth and expansion of this department into new markets and opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a Strategic Business Plan for the growth of TGR Merchandise
  • Continually develop merchandise designs and style that maintain brand identity
  • Managing marketing campaigns from inception to completion including online/print and email newsletters
  • Achieving customer satisfaction, sales, gross margin, and profit goals
  • Developing new marketplaces for retail, wholesale and ecommerce sales
  • Stock management including ordering, maintaining and controlling inventory.

The Merchandise Marketing Manager will work in tandem with all platforms and departments at TGR, including film tour, content production, digital media and marketing.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage merchandise throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Plan and implement marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Report weekly and monthly on sales targets and goals
  • Design and create digital marketing campaigns

TV Series Video Editor - CONTRACT

Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is seeking an experienced video editor with great story telling experience for an adventure lifestyle episodic TV series.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of editors under a lead editor and post production supervisor
  • Convert raw footage into compelling storylines within the series / episode creative
  • Potentially work on multiple episodes at a time
  • Maintain the post production schedule and hit deadlines in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Willing to relocate for the term of the contract to Jackson, WY
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere CC

Post Production - INTERNSHIP

Full Time: 5 Days per Week

Part Time: 3 Days per Week

Internships are available for students interested in learning about and gaining experience at one of the fastest growing brands in the action sports industry.

Interns will assist in management of the online media team with projects, planning, execution and administration. Strong organization and communication skills are required. A passion for action sports and youth culture is a plus.

We have three main intern sessions per year:

Summer Internships: run May - September. Application window: Feb 1st to April 15th

Fall Internships: run October - December. Application window: Aug 1st to Sept 15th

Winter Internships: run December - May. Application window: Oct 1st to Nov 15th

Internship Learning Plan:

  • Create short form videos (15 sec - 5 min) from TGR film content
  • Use TGR post production tools for editing, music, and creative production
  • Learn and work closely with our Production and Digital Media Teams
  • Help upload content to TetonGravity.com and our media partners
  • Create best practices for action sport content library and edits

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • - High School Degree required. Applicants should be in college or have a college degree

Time Requirements and Other Details:

  • Full-time Hours: 40 per week, 5 days a week
  • Part-time Hours: 30 per week minimum (Flexible depending on outside employment situation)
  • Duration: 3 months

  • Assist with tracking and reporting monthly social media and editorial metrics

Graphic Design - INTERNSHIP

Internships are available for students interested in learning about and gaining experience at one of the fastest growing brands in the action sports industry.

Interns will assist the in-house design team with creating marketing materials and web content for TGR and our partners. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is required and knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus. This position also requires strong organization and excellent written communication skills. Most importantly, passion for action sports and youth culture is a must!

Internships are available year-round. We have a limited number of spots available so get your applications in early for summer or winter internships!

Internship Learning Plan:

  • Collaborate with the in-house design team to design and execute marketing materials, branding projects, advertising, web pages, and web content for TGR and our partners
  • Assist the digital media team with creative planning and strategy for new and ongoing projects that drive traffic to tetongravity.com and increase fan engagement
  • Assist with maintaining and modifying TetonGravity.com and other TGR online properties
  • Learn about tracking, reporting, and responding to site traffic and trends based on data from a variety of analytics platforms

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • High School Degree required. Applicants should be in design-oriented college degree program or have a Graphic Design BFA or equivalent college degree
