Competitors must be 17 years old or younger to enter the contest

What:Submit your video and win a chance to film with TGR for their 2011 movie. The winner of the contest will be invited on a film shoot with TGR during the winter of 2010/2011. If the film from the shoot works out, your footage will be used in the next TGR movie.

Submission rules:

Athletes must be 17 years old or younger to enter the contest. Athletes must have permission from their parents or legal guardian to enter this contest.

You must register/sign up as a member of tetongravity.com and submit a video. You must submit your video via the contest submissions page.

Videos must be under 3 minutes. You must have rights from the filmer to submit the footage. Music must be cleared for posting in the edit on the Internet. Footage can be from anywhere in the world and made up of park, urban, powder, big mountain etc.

Submissions will close July 25th, 2010

Teton Gravity Research will review the videos by August 1st, 2010 and pick a winner. TGR producers and athletes will decide on the winner. All rulings are final.

Get your video noticed by having your friends rate and vote for your video. Note: this will increase the chances of your video getting noticed, but will have no influence on the outcome of the contest.

Judges Criteria:
Quality of action and level of riding are the main deciding factors. A tight edit with your best footage will probably score better with the judges. Do not make them wait through your B shots to see your A shots. Length of video is not a deciding factor. We need to see enough to see your skills. A tight 2 minute edit will usually be more impressive than a loose 3 minute edit.

Judges will include Sammy Carlson, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Dylan Hood and TGR producers.

Ability to Accept Terms of Service:
You affirm that you are either over 18 years of age, an emancipated minor or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms of Service, and to abide by and comply with these Terms of Service. The complete video will remain intact with full credit to the athlete and the filmer. In addition, the footage can be edited and used by TGR for highlight reels and promotional materials related to this contest and future TGR video contests. The athlete, production company, and/or filmer will maintain full rights and copyright to all footage submitted. TGR will have no copyright or ownership of footage, just licensed rights as listed above.

The winning video will be edited to show at TGR's Light the Wick Tour, as well as on the DVD. TGR will have rights to use the winning edit as well as the edited version of the edit in perpetuity and in all media. The filmer will maintain rights to all the raw footage in the edit. A full resolution version of the winning edit must be submitted no later than August 7th for inclusion in Light the Wick. Employees of TGR and their families are not eligible for entry into the contest.
