Big Wave Surfer Ian Walsh shreds Jackson Hole
By tgr420 | April 7th, 2009
We finally got hit with snow again in Jackson Hole. After a couple weeks of a dry spell, we woke to 6-10 inches of fresh. Big Wave surfer Ian Walsh was on location getting the goods. Walsh has been riding hard pack for the last week and is returning to the islands tomorrow to finish the Backdoor shootout at Pipeline. Walsh is addicted to riding powder. His last 4 trips have been full over the head powder the whole time. It is only fitting that Ian's last day in JH delivered the goods. Jackson is slotted for more storms this weekend. Bring back the snow!!

**Ian brings his surf style to the mountains when he rides. Here is a JH lip smack. Whack.**

**The result of a powerful slash is a massive faceshot. Walsh is constantly submerging himself.**
**Ian Walsh 10,000 feet above his normal playground, the ocean. He is so stoked on the mountains. It is cool to see him bounce from the ocean to the mountains more frequently these days.**

**Walsh rides the mountains like a surfer. His style is super smooth.**

**The best thing in the world is total submersion in the snow. Here Ian gets it really good.**
