AK Assault Complete: TGR Wraps The Dream Factory
By Steve Jones | May 2nd, 2012
The TGR crew spent the entire season filming in different locations around Alaska for its upcoming new film "The Dream Factory". The grand finale was five weeks in a relatively unexplored zone in the Northern Chugach with infinite first descents.
Halfway through the trip Angel Collinson and Dana Flahr tagged out Dash Longe and Daron Rahlves to join Seth Morrison and Sage Cattabriga-Alosa for the infamous AK spring assault. Dana is a veteran to TGR and always delivers the goods but it was our first season filming with Angel and it was immediately apparent she fit right in. It is safe to say her aggressive, hard-charging style and laid-back attitude are a solid addition to the TGR team.
As spring set in our terrain decisions became much more aspect and elevation sensitive, but the longer days revealed new lines that hadn't seen light all winter. All in all another hugely successful AK trip!

On knife-edge ridges like you find in Alaska, the heli literally has to hover with its doors off while you tip-toe out of the ship. Here, Angel Collinson experiences her first toe-in landing with the TGR crew.
