Howard Hendersen, a brash med school student from the outskirts of Detroit, MI who decided not to become a doctor, but rather move to Jackson Hole, WY. Howard became the owner of Teton Video, (whose videos started the name Jackson Hole Air Force getting out there) and the infamous Bear Claw café. As the outspoken historian of the Air Force, Howard executed the Air Force paradigm to the fullest extent possible, and delving into the shadowy no man’s land of Granite Canyon became his purpose in life. The Bear Claw Café became the crew’s clubhouse and warroom for planning stealth missions into forbidden territory. At the same time his band of renegades stepped it up to the next level and began pioneering the Chugach, Howie got a quick reality check; getting married and having a family to support. The choice to be a full time ski bum was put on the back burner and he now owns a contracting business, Howard is the most hardcore member forced to responsibly grow up.
